Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. About Larry Ricker
I'm a nature photographer who lives in Ely, Minnesota. My work includes landscapes, wildlife and macros. Although many of my images focus on my home state, I do have many photos from places such as Yellowstone, Grand Tetons and Grand Canyon National Parks, the Black Hills and Badlands of South Dakota, and the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming. I have been actively selling my images since 1998. My work has been published in Sports Illustrated, Canoeroots, Canoe & Kayak, Paddler and The Boundary Waters Journal magazines. I remember these falls. We lived in Duluth when I was little (back in the 60s) and would go there. I'm so pleased to see that there are still no guardrails keeping people away and spoiling the scenery. Those are beautiful falls and you photographed them well.
