A slow shutter speed photograph of a rapids along the St. Louis River in Minnesota's Jay Cooke State Park. The slow shutter smooths out the action creating an interesting pattern. Photographed at sunset, adding the warm colors.
About Larry Ricker
I'm a nature photographer who lives in Ely, Minnesota. My work includes landscapes, wildlife and macros. Although many of my images focus on my home state, I do have many photos from places such as Yellowstone, Grand Tetons and Grand Canyon National Parks, the Black Hills and Badlands of South Dakota, and the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming.
