While returning from a Boundary Waters trip on a rainy, Monday morning, I noticed, and photographed this scene on Embarrass Lake just outside Biwabik, MN. Photographed in July, 2015.

I'm a nature photographer who lives in Ely, Minnesota. My work includes landscapes, wildlife and macros. Although many of my images focus on my home state, I do have many photos from places such as Yellowstone, Grand Tetons and Grand Canyon National Parks, the Black Hills and Badlands of South Dakota, and the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming.
